For almost 20 years Mariano Torres and Caridad Cabañero, with the help of their family, have been running this beach bar which offers specialities such as fresh fish (rotenja, denton, grouper, San Pedro) cooked in the oven using a traditional method. Also specialities such as fresh red prawns and freshly cut Iberian ham. Es Xarcu opens before Easter and closes around the end of October.

This restaurant offers all the facilities to go out to eat by boat, since it is possible to anchor on a sandy bottom anchorage in front of the restaurant itself, in the cove of es Xarco (on the port side of Cala Jondal, looking from sea to land), where you can easily disembark with the dinghy on a small jetty.
